Drop Dead Fred

Drop Dead Fred is a 1991 film directed by Ate de Jong that has achieved Cult film status. Starring Phoebe Cates (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Gremlins) and Rik Mayall, this film resembles that of Tim Burton's popular films at the time. Unreliable sources says a remake is in the works starring Russell Brand.

As a child, Lizzie had an imaginary friend named Fred. Together her and Fred created all sorts of mischief. Eventually her mom get fed up and forced Lizzie to forget about Fred after trapping him in a box. Some time later Lizzie is all grown up and even married to a douche bag. Which brings me to the next plot point, Lizzie is planning on getting a devoice and her mind just is not as strong as it used to be. She has to stay at her moms house for the mean time allowing her to reunite with Fred. Now Lizzie is battling to live a normal life without Fred messing it up and getting her in trouble. Plus theres a creepy friend from childhood that is really trying to get in Lizzie's pants.
