The Wasp Woman



The Wasp Woman is a 1959 Horror Sci-Fi film directed by Roger Corman. Director of such movies as The Terror, House of Usher, and The Little Shop of Horrors. The cast includes Susan Cabot, Barboura Morris, and Michael Mark. A Made for TV remake of this film was produced in 1995.

Janice Starlin is the owner and spokeswoman of a once thriving cosmetics company. In recent years, her age has begun to show and sales are quickly dropping. Desperate for a solution to keep her company afloat, Janice soon meets the weird yet brilliant, Dr. Zinthrop. Dr. Zinthrop claims that by creating a serum made of "Royal Queen Wasp Jelly", he is able to reverse the aging process. This could be the only way to save the company and Janice quickly agrees to become the first human subject. Almost instantly the serum works its magic. Janice is looking 20 years younger and feels great. But, like many new products there are unforeseen side effects. Lets just say, Janice will have a hard time selling her products after this romp.
