Dolemite

Dolemite is a 1975 Comedy film directed by D'Urville Martin. Written by and starring comedian Rudy Ray Moore (Disco Godfather, Petey Wheatstraw), this film mostly casts Rudy's friends. D'Urville Martin stars as the villain. Others include Jerry Jones and Lady Reed. The Character Dolemite is said to been adapted by Rudy after hearing a local homeless man talk of an Urban Hero by the same name.

Dolemite is baddest motherfucker of all the bad motherfuckers. Hes a slick drug dealing pimp that knows how to kick ass. But you cant run from the law forever and eventually Dolemite gets sent to jail. As he rots in his jail cell, the community is taken over by Willie Greene, a sleazy pimp with no class. Guns and drugs flow through the streets as the innocent die and the evil profit. In an attempt to clean the streets, the FBI strike a deal with Dolemite. He can walk free if he helps them take down Willie Greene. Of course, this is no easy task and Dolemite will need to seek help from all his previous street connections.
