The Terror



A 1963 Horror film credited to Roger Corman, but has parts filmed by Francis Ford Coppola, Monte Hellman, Jack Hill, and Jack Nicholson. The cast features Jack Nicholson (The Shining, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest) and Boris Karloff (Frankenstein). This film is apparently best known for rehashing sets of previous films produced by AIP. The film is in public domain due to no copyright credits.

A French soldier, who sucks at navigating, gets lost on some weird coast. He soon meets a mysterious yet attractive young lady. Thinking that he may get a little something something, he pursues her. His search leads him to a creepy castle. It all goes downhill from there for this unlucky soul. Needless to say, he never got some action and instead gets caught up in a frightening love triangle. Complete with bird punching and a mischievous witch. A true terror for any lonely lost soldier.
