A 1972 "Made For TV" film directed by Daniel Petrie, best known for his work in 1961's A Raisin In The Sun. Featuring a slew of TV actors, including David Janssen (Harry O), Barbara Rush (It Came From Outer Space), and Bradford Dillman (Escape From Planet of The Apes). Filmed in Burnside, Louisiana. In a small Louisiana town, a young lady has been slashed up and left for dead. Aaron Whitaker, the town sheriff, frantically tries to sink his teeth into this crime. All the while, trying to resist flirtations from his old High School crush. She apparently went to New York shortly after graduation. After failing at her acting career, she moves back to the family plantation in Louisiana. As Aaron claws deeper, he finds that the victim was pregnant and rumored to be slutting it up around town. Filled with dramatic twists and turns and ending with a bang, this movie is sure to be a howl.
