The Trip

Released by AIP, directed by Rodger Corman and written by Jack Nicholson, this film is considered as a cult classic. Featuring a well know cast including Peter Fonda (Easy Rider, Race With The Devil), Susan Strasberg (Bloody Birthday), Bruce Dern (Hang Em' High, Monster), and Dennis Hopper (Apocalypse Now, Super Mario Bros.).

A Director decided to go on a bit of an acid trip. Once he got off work he went over to his hippie friends house and took the plunge. He begins by taking a nap, but soon awakes. Amazed by whats around him, he insists on going outside. Of course, who could resist swimming? Water is a scary thing and you could easily drown if not in the right state of mind. It was time to relax again. He sat down and thought about how him and his wife are having a divorce. This was no fun and he soon drowned the thought. He found a camera and decided to play with it in the closet, but when he exited the closet he finds his friend to be dead. One final photo of his dead friend and he runs off into the night. Oh boy!
