Torture Garden
Torture Garden is a 1967 is a horror film split into 4 stories. Directed by Freddie Francis (Tales From The Crypt) and featuring the talents of Burgess Meredith (Rocky, Batman [1966-1968], Peter Cushing (Asylum, Star Wars), Jack Palance (Batman [1989]), and John Standing (V For Vendetta), the fun of this film does not disappoint. All the stories were written by Robert Bloch, who is best known for writing the psycho novel and contributing to characters in the sequels. Though the film is a British production, Columbia Pictures insisted that two american actors must be cast in the film because..... were america damnit!
The Fair is in town and everybody is so excited to see Dr. Diablo's Torture Garden. For a small price you can get a tour of his tent featuring torture devices of past and present from around the world. But after the show he offers this specific crowd a chance for an extended tour. A trip into a more secret section of his tent, for a price of course. Hoping to look brave, or at least not a total chicken, 5 members of the tour dole out the extra pounds to see what Dr. Diablo has behind the curtain. Upon entering they find a figure (sorta) of Atropos, the goddess of destiny, known for cutting the thread of life in Greek Mythology. Dr. Diablo claims that if you look at the figure she will show you your inner evil and eventual downfall. One by one each patron looks upon the figure and finds their true fear, their destiny. A Man seeking fortune consults his uncle and ends up cursed by a witch. An inspiring actress gets in too deep with a production company that has a horrible secret. A woman unknowingly gets caught up in a love triangle with a well know pianist. An Edger Allen Poe enthusiast finds a horrifying secret regarding the death and life of the famous writer. All secrets shall be relieved in the eyes of Atropos.
Gamera vs. Guiron
Also known as Attack of the Monsters, this is a 1969 Japanese Kaiju film. This is actually the fifth installment in a series of films featuring Gamera, a large radioactive turtle that fights other creatures for the sake of children's safety. The film features the great adolescent acting talent of Nobuhiro Kajima and Christopher Murphy. Directed by Nisan Takahashi, who is known for directing all Gamera films between 1965 and 1980.
Tom and Akio are two kids that love space, universal peace, and safe traffic patterns. One night when looking through a telescope the boys spot a flying saucer. Feeling that this could be their chance to unlock all the mysteries of the solar system without consulting the local space authorities or any adult whatsoever, Tom and Akio set their alarms for the next morning, so they can check out the ship. Upon arrival they decide to enter the ship and push some buttons. Suddenly the ship takes off into space, set to automatically return for its home planet. The boys soon find themselves on a strange planet that luckily has earths atmosphere and is unfortunately infested by giant monsters. They are soon intercepted by two humanoid aliens that live on the planet under the protection of their "dog" Guiron. Upon questioning the boys about earth, the aliens find all they talk about is the great monster Gamera. Feeling that the boys will never tell earths secrets, the aliens plan to eat Tom and Akio's brains instead. Hopefully Gamera can save the day.
The Willies
The Willies is a 1990 collection of Horror Shorts written and directed by Brian Peck. Don't let the low production value fool you, this film is gouged with cameos. Cast includes Sean Aston (The Goonies, Lord of The Rings), Bill Erwin, James Karen (The Pursuit of Happiness) and Dana Ashbrook (Twin Peaks). Doug Benson is credited as playing a zombie that appears early in the film. Also a reference is made to Sean Aston's character about a story he once told involving him and his friends finding a pirate ship in a cave. Obvious reference to Aston's part in The Goonies.
Two brothers are visiting their cousin in another town and decide to camp in the back yard. Boys will be boys and soon conversation transforms to the boys telling each other scary stories. The film features two main stories. The first is about a young man who happens to have a bully problem at school. The second covers a boy with an indescribable obsession with being a dick and harvesting flys. This film may give you an urge to regurge.
Drop Dead Fred
Drop Dead Fred is a 1991 film directed by Ate de Jong that has achieved Cult film status. Starring Phoebe Cates (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Gremlins) and Rik Mayall, this film resembles that of Tim Burton's popular films at the time. Unreliable sources says a remake is in the works starring Russell Brand.
As a child, Lizzie had an imaginary friend named Fred. Together her and Fred created all sorts of mischief. Eventually her mom get fed up and forced Lizzie to forget about Fred after trapping him in a box. Some time later Lizzie is all grown up and even married to a douche bag. Which brings me to the next plot point, Lizzie is planning on getting a devoice and her mind just is not as strong as it used to be. She has to stay at her moms house for the mean time allowing her to reunite with Fred. Now Lizzie is battling to live a normal life without Fred messing it up and getting her in trouble. Plus theres a creepy friend from childhood that is really trying to get in Lizzie's pants.

Stay Tuned is a 1992 comedy directed by Peter Hyams. Sporting a par-famous cast including but not limited to, John Ritter (Three's Company), Pam Dawber (Mork and Mindy), Jeffrey Jones (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and Eugene Levy (Best In Show). This film is known for poking fun at many classic TV tropes.
Roy Knable loves television, I mean LOVES television. To the extent that he is failing at his job and his wife Helen is not pleased. Their marriage is crashing and Roy is not willing to make any effort to stop it. Helen has just about had enough and in a fit of rage she breaks the TV and goes to bed. Roy decides to bring up the small 3in television and spend the night watching more TV. Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Its a mysterious man offering a wonderful satellite dish package that includes a huge television. Slap it all with a free trial period and how could Roy say no? Once Helen finds out about this she is furious and threatens to leave. Just then they both get sucked into the satellite dish and sent into a television world. They now must survive 24 hours in various television programs to get their freedom. Watch Roy and Helen survive cartoons, sports events and game shows, all with a morbid twist. Oh yeah, their bland kids help out some too.
