Powder is a 1995 Drama written and directed by Victor Salva (Jeepers Creepers). Casting a "Butt Load" of stars including Mary Steenburgen (Back to the Future III), Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Lance Henriksen (Aliens, The Terminator) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day), just to name a few. With this being said you would imagine this film would be wonderful. Yeah... In 2006 it got a Bollywood remake under the name of Alag.

Jeremy Reed was born shortly after his mom got struck by lightning in some sort of freak accident. Amusing she died shortly after birth, Jeremy was to be raised by his father. Jeremy was not a normal kid, he was albino. The horror. Out of embarrassment and maybe a little bit of fear, his father confined him to the basement. Jeremy was unknown to the town until the day his father died. Having nowhere else to go Jeremy is forced to live in a boys home. Both the towns folk and the students don't take kindly to Jeremy because hes albino? They soon find that Jeremy possess the power to control electromagnetic fields and is a natural genius, despite never having a previous education. This doesn't help in the fight to win over the towns acceptance, cue a series of scenes with Jeremy being verbally abused by kids and adults alike. He just wants to be friends, But will anyone listen?
