Bad Taste

Bad Taste is a 1987 Sci-Fi Comedy directed by Peter Jackson. Produced on a low budget, this is actually his first feature length film. The film stars Mike Minett, Craig Smith, Pete O'Herne, Terry Potter, and even Peter Jackson. Most of the film is said to be shot on a 16mm camera and without sound.

Kaihoro, New Zealand has been over taken by aliens. Disguised as humans they pick off each resident of the small town. A defense team gets word of this invasion and decides to send their best "The Boys". Frank, Ozzy, Barry and Derek arrive at Kaihoro to find a ghoulish discovery. It seems that the aliens are representatives of an intergalactic Fast Food Chain and the new popular meal just happens to be Human. The aliens season the humans well still alive and then slaughter them and place them in boxes for shipping. Its now up to "The Boys" to save the day but, time is running short. Stacked with an arsenal of weaponry, "The Boys" will stop at nothing to ensure each and every alien menace has been killed.
