Kai Xin Gui
Kai Xin Gui, also known as The Happy Ghost is a 1984 Hong Kong Comedy film. Directed by Clifton Ko. The film stars producer Bak-Ming Wong, who is known for producing the film IP Man. Other talents include Loletta Lee (Haunted Jail House) and Bonnie Law (Xin Tiao Yi Bai).
A group of students are camping on the beach when suddenly, it begins to rain. Desperate for cover, they run into an old Temple. One of the girls backpack straps break and she decides to use a rope from in the temple as a makeshift strap. They soon find the rope houses an ancient Chinese ghost. Pik is not an evil ghost, he is a happy ghost. Together they have fun playing tricks around school well learning about the woes of teenage pregnancy and suicide. There is even a dance scene featuring a knock off of "Owner of A Lonely Heart".
